Cheeseburger

Ingredients

  • 80/20 Ground Beef (rolled into 1/3 pound balls)

  • Kaiser Rolls

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • Cheddar Cheese (sliced)

  • Salt & Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. One hour before cooking, remove ground beef from refrigerator

  2. Roll into 1/3 pound balls and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste

  3. Set aside at room temperature for an hour

  4. Cut kaiser rolls in half

  5. Place pan over medium-high heat

  6. Toast kaiser rolls in pan while pan is heating

  7. Once pan is hot, add olive oil

  8. Place ground beef ball in pan and smash down until it is the desired thickness

  9. Cook until meat is browned 3/4 of the way up the side of the patty (about two minutes)

  10. Flip burger, cook for 1 minute, add cheese, continue cooking until cheese is melted

  11. Remove and let rest 5 minutes

  12. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon and spread on buns

  13. Build your burger with any other toppings you want

  14. Eat!
