~1.5 cups Water
6 Dried Guajillo or Ancho Chilies (chopped)
2 Dried Arbol Chilies
1/2 teaspoon Salt
In a small saucepan, add chilies (remove seeds if you prefer less spicy) and cover with water, boil for about 20 minutes
Place chilies, salt, and ~1 cup of the water (once cooled) into a blender and blend until smooth
Sift mixture through a sieve to remove any large flakes
