2 pounds Pork Belly
2 cups Water
1/3 cup Lime Juice
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Oil for frying
Cut pork belly into 1/4 pound slices
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add pork belly, water, lime juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Cook for 10-15 minutes until water evaporates out, turning the pork belly every few minutes
Heat a large pot of oil to 350F for frying
Transfer pork belly to frying oil and cook for about 5 minutes, until golden brown
Be careful not to over crowd the pot, you may need to cook in two or three batches
Place on paper towel to drain the grease
Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with lime juice if you're feeling classy
Eat!
