Ham & Beans


  • 1/2 pound Bacon (Thick sliced, cut into 1 inch pieces)

  • 1 pound Ham (cubed)

  • 1 Onion (diced)

  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 4 cans (15.5oz each) White Beans

  • ~2 cups Stock

  • Salt & Pepper


  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, add the, bacon, and ham and cook for a minute or two until their fat turns to grease

  2. Add the onion and garlic, and cook for a few minutes until aromatic

  3. Add the beans and stock and bring to a boil

  4. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce heat to low and cook (uncovered) for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes or so

  5. Season with slat and pepper

  6. Eat!
