Spicy Miso Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Pasta

  • 1/4 pound Bacon (chopped)

  • 3 Eggs

  • 2 tablespoons Miso Paste

  • 5 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1 tablespoon Chili Paste

  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 2 tablespoons hot water

  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1.5 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan

  • 1/2 cup Green Onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta per package instructions

  2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat

  3. Once the pan is hot, add the bacon and cook until crispy

  4. In a medium bowl, add the eggs, miso, garlic, chili paste, cayenne, black pepper, and hot water and whisk until well mixed

  5. While the drained pasta is still hot, add the oil and bacon and place over medium heat

  6. Add the egg mixture, Parmesan, and green onions and toss continuously until eggs are cooked and pasta

  7. Eat!
