Tomato Basil Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Penne Pasta

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 1 pound Cherry Tomatoes (halved)

  • 1/4 pound Bacon (chopped)

  • 8 ounce Mushrooms (sliced)

  • 3-4 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1/4 cup Red Wine

  • 1 bunch of Basil (chopped)

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta per package instructions

  2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat

  3. Once the pan is hot, add the oil and tomatoes and saute for a few minutes

  4. Add the bacon, mushrooms, and garlic and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until moisture is evaporated out

  5. Add wine and reduce for a few minutes

  6. Add pasta and basil, mix well

  7. Eat!
