Mushroom Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Pasta

  • 16 ounces Mushrooms (sliced)

  • 2 tablespoons Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 2 tablespoons Flour

  • 1 cup Cream

  • 1 bunch Basil (chopped)

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions

  2. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add butter and oil

  3. Once hot, add mushrooms, salt, pepper, and pepper flakes

  4. Once mushrooms are almost cooked, add garlic and cook for another minute or so

  5. Add flour and mix well, reduce heat and cook for a few minutes

  6. Add cream, cooked pasta, and Parmesan cheese and mix well

    1. add some pasta water if the mixture is too thick

  7. Mix in the basil prior to serving

  8. Eat!
