Butter Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 pound Chicken (cubed)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 tablespoon Oil (for frying)

Sauce

  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

  • 2 tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 5 tablespoons Butter

  • 1 tablespoon White Vinegar

  • Salt to taste

  • 3 tablespoon Cream

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken and spices

  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, fry the chicken until cooked

  3. Remove the chicken and set aside

  4. Add onions to the pan and cook for a few minutes

  5. Add garlic and cook for another minute

  6. Add tomatoes, garam masala, sugar, chili powder, butter, and vinegar - mix well and let simmer for 15 minutes

  7. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth

  8. Strain through a sieve to remove any pulp

  9. Mix the chicken in with the sauce

  10. Spoon the cream over

  11. Serve with Basmati Rice and Naan

  12. Eat!
