Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Butter

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 Onion (diced)

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1/2 inch Ginger (diced)

  • 2 Dried Red Chilis (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon Miso

  • 3 cups Cooked White Rice

  • 1/4 pound Precooked Chopped Protein of Choice (Chicken/Shrimp/Beef)

  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce

  • 5-10 leaves Fresh Basil (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and scramble the eggs - set aside for later

  2. Add the remaining butter to the skillet and add the onions, cook for 5 minutes or so

  3. Add garlic, ginger, and chilis, miso and saute for a few minutes until aromatic

  4. Add the rice, meat, scrambled eggs, soy sauce, fish sauce, and basil and saute for about 5 minutes

  5. Add the sesame oil and mix well

  6. Eat!
